New Welder Under the Tree!

Santa brought me a New Millermatic 185! Okay, so I helped Santa a bit, but I still finally got it?!
I hope everyone is having a great Christmas. Just being home has made ours. Im finally not TDY over the holidays.

I've put about 4 thirty pound spools of wire through one of those rebuilding 3 jeep tubs and fabricating all kinds of stuff. It's an AWESOME welder, you'll love it.

I've also welded aluminum and stainless with it, no problem.

I've never had it trip out, the 60% duty cycle is great, and it'll just about burn through 1/4".

'88.5 Slamurai, 7" Lift, Locked, Swamped, Rolled, and just generally broken in right!

Really good welder for a home shop!
You can literally fabricate the entire frame/ body with that welder...

A bottle of gas and a little practice and you can screw up like never before! [img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif[/img][img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif[/img]
(I managed to weld the ground clamp down on the first pass with my first welder...[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif[/img] )

Looks great! And it's going to be a lot more productive than that PS2 there next to it...

So many cats, so few recipes...
