Discounts for pulling family OUT OF MY YARD!

We had the big family Christmas party at my house last night and I told them all to stay on the driveway or they would get stuck. We live on the side of a hill and with all the rain we have had the yard is really mushey. Well, when the party was over, 3 of the family members decided to back off the driveway (down hill) to turn around. I gave them the discount of only $40 per pull since they were family and all. No one seemed ready to walk home at midnight in the cold! They were pretty amazed how easy it was for the granny geared jeep just to idle them out after they all spent 15 or 20 min tearing the hell out of my yard. It was all in good fun and of course I didn't mind doing it. I told them to be here in the morning with their shovels to repair the yard but it looks like they are blowing me off!

Merry Christmas to All
God bless the U.S.A.

You should have taken their forty bucks and told them they would get it back when they returned with shovels in hand!

Re: Discounts for pulling family OUT OF MY YARD!

I know what you mean about family and tearing up lawns. A couple of years ago I put a new lawn in and family (sister-in-laws)drove though it without telling me. Not one, but two or three. I didn't notice it until the morning. Big ruts all over. And no offers to help me fix it. Friends would have offered to fix it, but not family.
