1 inch body lift

I have found that my body mounts needs replacing. My question is that I have a 4 inch sky jacker lift and was thinking about adding a 1 inch body lift to give me a little extra room for my wheels. Does anyone know of a Great 1 inch body lift? Is there much involved in doing it?
Thanks for all the help!

Re: 1 inch body lift

Daystar make a 1" kit that replaces the stock bushings completely. The kit also includes all new hardware. It runs a little over $100. I have the kit on both of my CJs.

Re: 1 inch body lift

This has been discussed at length here. I'm using MORE aluminum pucks, in fact MORE sells a kit with the pucks and new poly mounts. A lot of guys are running the Daystar setup, the 1" lift and mounts are integral. Take your pick, either are easy to do just as long as your mount bolts aren't rusted into the nuts inside the body.

Re: 1 inch body lift

I run the Daystar and like it just fine. The hardest part is getting the old rusty bolts out without spinning the "nuts". Had to cut open the box on the rear to get them out. Other than that, it's pretty simple.

I'm running the Daystar 1" body lift/mounts on my YJ. I really like them. VERY easy to install!
