OBA Pressure Regulator Question

Quick question . Because of my pressure regulator have no diagram under the lid which set of contacts do I hook up the electrics to ? There are 2 sets of terminals one called LINE and the second set labelled MOTOR . I`m assuming the LINE terminals are correct for wiring the switch into ? Also , do you think it`s necessary to use a relay to trigger the system on and off ? Thanks all !

Re: OBA Pressure Regulator Question

You've got a 2 pole switch (would be used for a 240V motor).
For your aplication, you'll only use one pole. Hook the 12V power supply to one of the LINE terminals and the clutch to the corresponding MOTOR terminal.
You shouldn't need a relay, the switch is probably rated for 15-20 amps and the clutch draws very little current.

Re: OBA Pressure Regulator Question

Derek is right on both.
The contacts are designed to handle a lot more current than you will be throwing at it.
