Driveshaft donors? What vehicles???

I am going to need new driveshafts for my CJ-8 project. I have Wagoneer axles(front44 rear20) and a D300. What vehicle would make the best donor for this setup? I would like to get some used shafts and have them sized for my application. I would also like a CV shaft for the rear. Would shafts from a Waggie work?

Thanks,
Tom

Re: Driveshaft donors? What vehicles???

I was just looking at my friend's '96 grand cherokee and it has a front CV shaft that might work. It was about 2" shorter than I want, but I have a different tranny in mine. It looked like 1310 Ujoints as well.

My '97 TJ has a cv front shaft, though it might have some kind of wierd yoke. Bronco 2's and maybe big bronco's have cv rear shafts.

I am using a uncut front drive shaft from a 1972 waggy on my CJ7, It came with a CV joint!
