I believe Best Top also makes an OEM replacement for the CJ2A.

Re: help! on original cj-2a canvas top

The Bestop product is a lot more civilized than the original canvas. I would really only use original style canvas if I was doing a complete restoration. All the guys I have ever known that bought a CJ2 with a canvas top quickly replaced it with a hardtop of some sort. My father-in-law's dad bought a new CJ2 in 47, he promptly removed the canvas and bought a locally produced aftermarket aluminum hardtop.

There is a company in Richmond Ohio called Pizzoferrato enterprises, that makes their own tops for early models( MB, 2A, 3A, M38, 38a1) Their primary customers are for people doing military restorations. They do seat covers as well! Anyway David is the owner, and their # is (740)765-5357. Their prices used to be reasonable, I am not sure where they are now? Hope this helps
