Speedy Sleeve

I was replacing the timing chain and gears on my 304 last night when I noticed the front main shaft has a slight groove in it, near where the oil seal would be. I am thinking a Speedy Sleeve will fix the problem. Anybody ever done this?

I know what you're thinking. Did he fire six shots or only five?

Re: Speedy Sleeve

Speedy sleeves work great if installed correctly. Follow the instructions closely, and you should have no problems.

Love them!!
Best thing sense chocolate milk!

Make sure you use a press to put it on, and you keep everything straight, or it will buckle.

Re: Speedy Sleeve

I used one on a 134 F-Head, if you tap it on right, no more leak.
