Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

Anyone know why this HTML script decided to add all that head space between the top line and the table?

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

I'm not a super HTML wiz, but I pulled the page up on Navigator using "page source". By my count there should have only been 2 or 3 lines between the title and the table. However, one of the < br > commands was blinking. Never seen that before, not sure. I'll look at it again and see if I can figure out what it's doing. I'll post again if I can.

BTW thanks for the info!

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

TR- you posted more html code than you neded. you don't need the < html > and < head > and < body> tags. there was also an error where you tried to close the < head > tag with < /head . instead of > .. that is why there is a blinking < br > if you pull up the code in netscape's page source viewer. check over the code, you will see.

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

Not sure this caused it, but when you put the header in you missed the > on the /head part. It looks like < /head. My guess is you missed the shift key and got a period instead of a > Let me know if this helps!

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

I fixed that head tag, no change I could see.

I'm about to give up on this table...
I've changed it two dozen times trying to figure out what's with the #%@*&%$ head space !

It's hand written in HTML, (I'm learning!) and it appears fine in IE and Navigator...
Can't figure out the spacing here though... Maybe just a glitch in the BBS program I'm thinking...

No big secret to HTML, just more than I wanted to do before Christmas...

If anyone figures it out, be sure to post the answer, I'd love to know!

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

I still see < html > and < head > tags. they are not needed since you are just inserting into a document. i'm not sure if they are causing the problem, but thats where i would start.

Re: 350/305- Small Block Info

I took out the HTML, HEAD, & BODY tags, and it still didn't make any difference...
This is a real head scratcher for me...?....
