Flexing my muscles!!!(PICS)

Here's a link to a handful of pics of my YJ flexing. Sorry they're at night, but business' usually don't like people flexing their Jeeps on their loading docks during business hours

You'll notice in some of the pics that my left rear tire is off the ground around 4" or so. I tried to squeeze a little more flex by going a bit higher up, but it didn't work[sad]

Is this a pretty good flexing job? Like I said in my previous post, my friend and his TJ beat me by going higher. But I feel once I get this sucker tuned in, and some bigger tires and what not, I'll be spanking him.

Notice in one of the pics how my draglink TRE is hitting the leaf. Hopefully W.C.'s info on a smaller joint would allow me to fix that problem. We'll see though.

You can also see how I've got plenty of room in the fenders for my 35's. So I'm hoping that will work well.

Any ideas on how to get some more flex? Or is this pretty good?

Re: Flexing my muscles!!!(PICS)

hey jamm.. looks good.. but let me ask you.. how does the tie rod..line up with the pitman arm? my suggestion would not to go with a smaller tre but to get a small 1/4" spacer made for the arms.... i had this problem on mine and its what i did... i took one of the arms in and had a machine shop make two spacers.. cost like $40... but make sure in doing this that it will not interfere with your pitman arm..
and on those leaf springs..undo the clamps.. bend them suckers so they are straight up... pointing to the sky.. you'll get some more flex by doing that..
you can bend them with a crowbar and a vice.. be easier with a torch.. to heat them up.. and beat them straight with a hammer..
keep an eye on your brake lines.. so you dont rip them off..

Re: Flexing my muscles!!!(PICS)

You really think 1/4" will be enough? Even after I go with 2.5" lift springs? As far as it interferring with my pitman arm, it may. But I could always find a pitman arm with no drop at all. That'd be best. I may be able to get away with the spacers though. Have to check.

As for the brake lines, I think I may try and get a small hardline extention and run it down the side of the frame a bit and connect the flex line there. I just REALLY don't want to do this since it took forever to bleed last time. But it may be worth it.

With the leaf spring clamps, you said use a crowbar and a vice. You talking about actually removing them? Or what?
