Holley Pro-Jection for \'82+

JP just did the article, but they were not really specific about the applications. They just said that it would work on almost anything. My CJ is an '85 258. I am or was interested in some kind of fuel injection. I am not really looking to spend $2K on it though. If I do anything it would be the Weber.

Can this unit be made to work on my CJ? All of my emission stuff was removed, A/C went as well. What is left that can be computer controlled?

'85 CJ-7, Superior axels, Detroit, Lock-Right, MSD, currently 33's.

The brain in the Holley kit is what makes their system work. I would imagine that it replaces the stock ignition control module too.

Re: Holley Pro-Jection for \'82+

I have an 87 YJ with the Holley system on it. I had to dispose of a lot of sensors and crap but got it hooked up and working pretty good. The one in the JP magazine they had to make an adapter but when I bought mine the adapter was cut perfectly and it is fairly easy to install. You don't change the igition module or anything just bolt on new stuff. I you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me.

it was around $1500.00 Canadain, and I bought it from a High Performance Shop in a nearby town. Rudy Held's is the name of the place. It is in New Hamburg, ON, Canada
