Is this a T18??

I can't tell from this picture but that's because I wouldn't know a T18 if you dropped it in my lap. It's being sold on ebay and thought it may be someone's here. Would help out with a 302 swap I want to do. Maybe help someone else out as well.

Re: Is this a T18??

The post on ebay says it's a Jeep T18. Either way, if it's a Ford or a Jeep T18, what would be a fair price for it? It comes with the Dana20 which I don't need and I know it's on ebay and bidding is bidding, but what would a fair price be for that setup?

Re: Is this a T18??

i wouldnt go much over 250 for it but the dana 20 should not be ruled out it is damn near as strong as the d300 and has survived behind many ford v8 engines in the early broncos the whole unit would make an easy swap with an amc or a ford v8 and with that first gear you wouldnt really need a 4to1 low range kit for your tcase

Re: Is this a T18??

Thanks 3Jeep, I'll watch it a couple days and see what happens. If it looks like it will sell for 250 or less, I'll put my .02 cents in.

Re: Is this a T18??

Try getting a T98/D20 combo that the junkyard owner didn't bother to drain fluid from into the bed of a 4x4 Dodge by hand sometime. If it weren't for the hi-lift, it'd probably still be there

Re: Is this a T18??

That thing is going way over $250. Heck, the D300 out of my Scrambler just went for $255, and that was just the transfer. I'll be it tops $600, but that's still a decent deal on one. You'd pay that in one adapter to mate a decent tranny into a jeep.
