My Jeep\'s FOR SALE... Make me an offer!

I just got a new job that is going to have me in Germany for a years time. I will be leaving sometime in the next 1-3 months. I need to sell my Jeep, and am willing to take a good offer.

For Sale: 79 Jeep CJ 7
$7000 OBO.

Jeep is excellent off-road, and is still very drivable on-road. Jeep built from the frame up. Frame was sandblasted and epoxy coated, then painted flat black. All new bushings everywhere. Original steel tub, replaced all floors. Painted cobalt blue. Have bikini top, bestop seats (the nice ones), interior bedlined (no carpet), many new gages, rough hardtop and full steel doors, diamond plate corners, and rockers. Have extra AMC 304, onboard air compressor w/tank, and ALL other jeep parts go with it.

Front disc brakes, rear 11 inch drums (power brakes). Power steering.

Engine:
AMC 360 from 72 wagoneer. TOTALLY rebuilt less than 15000 miles ago. All new wiring, done nice. Holley Pro-jection fuel injection, edelbrock performer intake, wolverine blue racer cam (rv/towing cam, not wild) Engine has excellent oil pressure all the time, and does not overheat. New fan shroud and mechanical fan. Headman fenderwell exit headers, with sidepipe exhaust, turbo mufflers. Have all specs from rebuild, over 400 ft lb of torque at 1800 rpm. This is an excellent off-road engine.

Driveline
TH400 transmission rebuilt less than 20000 miles ago, with all B&M components. Dana 20 transfer case, Tom Woods long travel front driveshaft. AMC 20 rear, one piece mosier axles, 3.55 gears, and locker. Front is dana 30, warn premium hubs, 3.55 open. Rancho steering stabalizer.

Suspension
Skyjacker 4” spring lift. Braided stainless steel brake lines. Trailmaster shackle reversal. Trailmaster SSV shocks. TJ flares. 33x12.5 super swamper TSL’s on 8 inch steel wheels. 33x12.5 mud terrains 50% tread left on 10 inch steel wheels (used for street tires).

I have more than the asking price into this Jeep. I am getting married in November, and could use the money. I am near Detroit, MI. Can possably drop off within reason (have a pick-up truck and have access to car hauler trailer)

Needs the following:
· Slight body work to be perfect. I wheeled my jeep a lot, and have a few minor marks to show for it. I have close up pictures upon request.
· Could use a nicer hard top. The one I have gets the job done, but is not pretty.

Email me with questions at [email protected]. I can email pictures. I have tons of action shots too. Can be reached at 248-506-4331, leave message if voicemail.

Re: My Jeep\'s FOR SALE

Sorry no offer. Just wanted to know how the motor mounts were set up. If you could take a look and let me know i'ld much appreciate it. Is the larger of the motor mount-to-frame brackets, the pieces connected between the frame and mounts, on the passenger or driver side. Any info would be great.

Scott...

Re: My Jeep\'s FOR SALE

Th mounts should be the exact same as the ones in the Jeep you have with the 304. The mounts are the same, because the engine block exernal dimensions are identical.

The larger one is on the passenger side in mine.
