I read an article many years ago about using rear locking hubs on 4X4s. I don't remember much about it other than the convenience of flat towing.
I have been pondering the idea of installing locking hubs (i.e. Warn) on a rear full floating Dana 60 with a Detroit and 40" tires.
I would like to know what the crowd things about the use of lock out hubs on rear axles.

If you're doing something severe enough to run D60's in the rear, make sure you get lifetime warranty hubs, cause you're gonna blow 'em every 5 feet. They aren't strong enough to rely upon full time, IMHO...especially with a locker or large tires to accompany the axle.

I Jeep, therefore I am.
