My machinest said he could off-set grind a 4.2's crank to accept cheap chevy rods and pistons. I think this is how Hesco makes their 4.7 stroker kit. The only issue is setting the quench area. On Robs stroker article, the deck comes out about .030 above the piston. If you deck the block correctly, your compression will be way too high. Leaving the deck alone seems to work ok without pinging. To correctly set the quench area, you would have to find some very low dished pistons, and use longer rods, or different piston pin location. With the proper math, you should be able to look up some specs, and figure out what to get. Chevy stuff is real cheap compared to Mopar stuff.
