I've built two of them for the J-truck semifloaters. I had to build caliper mounts. I used late CJ thin rotors, had the outside diameter of the axle flange machined so the rotors slip on and off, and used cadillac calipers. You can put the rotors on the inside like the front of a CJ but unless your local shop has an on vehicle rotor lathe you won't be able to true the rotors once the studs are pressed in. I built the caliper mounts with a machined recess that the axle bearing and seal sits in. Unlike a 44, the axle bearing and seal actually sticks out from the housing some. I would look closely at what you have though as I'm going from memory and that was about 2 years ago. I do remember we had to machine a recess in the bracket though. It's a hassle but doable if you have access to fab equipment. I know it's not complete info but hopefully it will be somewhat helpful. I've got another one to do in about 6 months for myself and may post my findings when fresh after I'm done. Nickmil.
