4 Cyl . Wrangler Overheating

This is to help out a good friend of mine , he owns a 92 Wrangler and had a rad hose blow on the Highway . He noticed it a wee bit late and the motor got quite hot . Now after new hoses , new water pump and new re-cored rad and new thermostat it is still overheating . He hears {gurgling}in the heater core inside the Jeep and has already flushed out any airlocks that might have been . Does this sound like like a bad head gasket ? I think so but wanted to hear what you guys think . Thanks !!

Jeff
