what size tyres did jeeps come stock?
my mate asked me about my cj tyres and i couldnt answer him......i never thought about it and i cant remember ever seeing a cj with split rims

Depends on the year. Your '78 came with one of the following sized, based on the load range and options, all of which fit on the stock 6" wide rim. Those rims are very desireable as they fit the disc brakes in the front and are great for a 32 or 34 x 9.5 Swamper
