1 week before kickoff of our latest football game, a Junior student came up with the idea of each section wearing red, white, and blue to show the country how much us Aggies in Texas love our country... they printed shirts and sold them at $5 each with 100% of the profit going to charity to help with the families.... Well I just have to say it was an amazing thing to be a part of, and I just thought id brag a bit here, and just let people know how united this country is right now... fyi The brown in the stands is the Corps of Cadets in uniform, and that is our Band on the field, the best damn band in the country.. if you have ever seen and heard them you would know... the other side of the stadium where all the Alumni and old students sit was also decked in the respective red/white/blue... it was something i will always remember
Sit in the shape of a flag! Inferno you don't know much about Aggies do ya? Gettin' em organized well enough to pull off what they did must have been quite a feat. They must have had outside help. My guess is they glued them Aggies into the seats and painted 'em in place.
Just kiddin' CJ7350, my sis went to A&M. Of course she ain't been right since.
September 11, 2001- We will not forget! We will not forgive!
Ok, You win, I made the picture in Photoshop (not really), everyone knows we are way to incompetent to pull that off Your sister was the smart kid in your family wasnt she? hehe
That was a touching event, even for a Longhorn fan. I guess if the politicians can get along, so can the Aggies and Horns . The only event taht touched me more this weekend was NC whooping Florida State which I know Aggies and Longhorns can agree on ....
I got nothing against you hippy queers over in Austin yeah I really hate the rep I get for that rivalry... I just like seeing anyone from Texas kicking ass... If not my team I guess those orange fellows are good enough, and yes Florida St. losing is always my favorite thing to watch
hey, hey, I may resemble the hippy remark, but not the other, and I actually live in Bastrop, not Austin... and I'm exactly the same way, I cheer for the Texas team (UT or A&M) over any other team, at least until Thanksgiving, then I have to cheer for the Horns, if for no other reason, than that everyone else I know cheers for the Aggies..... One of the guys I work with is actually on the field in the maroon shirts, he is one of the alumni band members and his son plays drums in the band...
