measuring a drve shaft
yester day during one of my temper tantrums (4 wheel parts wholesalers and '89 ford taurus heater core) i was on my way home and i twisted my drive shaft, before i take it out i want to measure it. do go center of horiz u-joint caps?

Measure from face to face of the yoke where the u-bolt/strap holds the joint cap on transfer and rear end yoke.

And you should measure both the top face to face and bottom face to face, then average the measurements. This was the procedure given to me by Tom Woods when I ordered new shafts from him.
