What type of Trans-case do I have?

I can't seem to find out what type of Trans-case I have in my Jeep. It is a '73 Cj-5 with a factory 304 ci engine. Any possibilities/probabilities will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know the gear ratio if anyone knows.

If someone could put a link to webpage with the info. I will be most appreciative!

Thank you

If it 's the stock t-case, it's a Dana 20 w/real close to 2 to 1 low range

Look at the rear axle. If the diff is offset to the passenger side, then you have a Dana 18. If not, then you may have a dana 20.

Re: What type of Trans-case do I have?

if its stock.. should be a dana 20.. will have the "texas" bolt pattern going to the transmission.. low range of 2.03.. gear driven.. looks similiar to a dana 300.. the rear output is centered.. vs the dana 18 which is passenger side just like the front output..
