I'm swapping a 258 from a '77 cj7 into my '81 scrambler. I can't figure out the throttle linkage/bracket, and how the power steering pump bolts up. I was running a 360, so that's where my old brackets came from. I've got the two brackets the go on the front and back of the power steering pump, but I can't see how it bolts to the block. Does anybody have pics of the throttle linkage (where it bolts to the block) and the power steering brackets? By the way, this is the carter 1bbl. Also, on my 360 distributor there was a three prong wire coming out. On the 258, theres a two plug wire. What's the difference, and how do I make it work? Speaking of the distributor, does it matter which vaccum I use for the vaccum advance?

the 360 ps brackets wont bolt up to the 258.. you need 258 ps brackets.. i have some if you need them..
i cant remember for a 100% on the vacuum advance.. but i think it should be the small output from the drivers side.. front of the carb.. its been awhile since i messed with an ole 1 bbl..
