Steel Horse TJ flares

Anyone heard anything about the steel horse brand of flares ? I wonder what the warranty is about fading and sagging and what not . How about pricing , where to find the best deal on them .

Re: Steel Horse TJ flares

Most, if not all, Steelhorse stuff is crap. I have looked into those flares as well, they are much cheaper than the other brands. Everyone I talked to that had a set said that is because they suck(to put it bluntly). They said that mostly they just crack. Not real flexible.

I have never heard of Steelhorse even having a warrenty on anything. If they do, they don't honor it for things like fit and such(most of their stuff won't, you have to trim, and redrill holes, etc.).

Re: Steel Horse TJ flares

DO NOT GET THEM. They are made of polystyrine which is a very brittle plastic.

Re: Steel Horse TJ flares

Seems as if everyone would be correct or at least consistant with the feedback that we've gotten. Go with the factory flares unless you need the extended ones, then you might have a look at the Bestop flares.
