skyjacker shocks

I just purchased someones not yet installed lift kit for cheap. It was a mix and match, with superlift 2.5" springs and skyjacker shocks. I am a little concerned about the shocks. all four have # H7051S on them, which does not match numbers on the shocks in cataglogs I have. does anyone know the specs for these shocks or a website that would have the specs? thanks! steven

Re: skyjacker shocks

If all 4 shocks have the same # they may be for a narrow track CJ. The widetrackers used those shocks in the rear, but different (longer) ones up front. If JpShp confirms this, all you have to get is front shocks.

Re: skyjacker shocks

Hey, Mike. I think the narrow track and wide track used the same length shock in front. The narrow track had the shock mounts on the spring u-bolt plates and a short shock mount on the frame. The wide track used a longer upper shock mount but also moved the bottom shock mount to the axle tube. I don't know about the rear shocks between the two though.

Re: skyjacker shocks

You may be right WILL. I just looked through 4WD Hardware's catalog at part #'s for shocks and some fit my theory and some fit your's. Hope he get's the answer he needs...'cause I definately don't have it.
