Re: Anybody have a power brake booster bracket?

Did you have manual brakes before the booster install ? If so do you have more braking power now ? I have 39.5 x 18 in wide Boggers on my 83 CJ-7 and are in need of some more wooo power . I have stainless lines which helped the manual setup . Let me know , thanks .

Re: Anybody have a power brake booster bracket?

cjdave,

The problem with putting it in line is that the brake booster is bigger in diameter. On mine I could not close the hood, so I had to use the bracket. As for welding onto the brake booster shaft, well, I did it and it works. You just have to be carefull not to apply too much heat, and clamp a vise grip on the shaft to help cool it... You will love the easy brake pedal. Heck, my gas pedal is harder to push now
