Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

I drove the jeep to the store last night where I met 3 big "good ol boys" coming out the door. They were talking about my jeep. I thought I heard one of them say something about knocking me in the head and taking it. I'm not sure they realized it would have been a fight to the death if they would have tried it. I have a very sharp hand saw in a sheath strapped to my roll bar right behind my head that might come in damn handy. I gave them a "go fark yourself" look and went on in. I'm sure they were just mouthing but it still pissed me off. Like most jeepers I think about my jeep getting ripped off but never really thought of someone just taking it from me. I think I may get one of those big tire checker clubs the truckers use. What are you guys using to protect your jeep and yourself while on the road?

Re: Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

we had a post similar to this a while back and it was quickly found that a whole lot of jeepers have a "little something" in the glove box. My K-bar(USMC fighting knife)sits between the center console and the drivers seat, and the hi-lift handle sits on the left side floor board. of course most thieves would'nt be able to get the jeep in gear....

S&W 9mm under the seat and .22 shorty on the ankle. Never had to use either and I hope I never do.

Re: Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

Folding shovel under the back seat (serated edge)
I'm thinking of somthing like a band-saw blade, wraped around the roll cage upright, with just a little showing.
Use it like a guitar string whip?

nah. I'd let them get in, let them try to start it, if they did start it I'd laugh as they tried to put it in gear. Then I'd un-suspectingly go at them with the folding shovel. I'd beat them to a pulp, and quickly chain their hands to my rear shackles, before driving them to the poice station.

Thats got to be by far the best defence.

if your going into a rough neighbourhood, toss your dog in the back seat (big dog)

Mine makes so much noise and looks so mean that no-one comes within 15 feet of my Jeep in feat that he might jump out.

Re: Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

lol inferno

I have/had a big extra rachet I use to carry around.
Man it was heavy and huge.
My dumb friend hit it up against something, playing with it and broke it after a few hits.
I was pretty pissed. The remains of it are in the picture.
I also have a billy club.
it use to be my grandpa's..it is hardcore
It is a spring wrapped in tape.
The spring is attached to a rock, thats wrapped in leather. If you swing it it gets all this momentum because of the spring, and delivers a devestating blow.
Unfortunatly the sun go the best of it and the leather cracked

Re: Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

I got one of those mini fish killer bats in my jeep with my folders shovel, and my .40 Glock. I always look for stuff that can be used for a weapon, something i was always tught. My friends dont even like fighting with me, because i cheat and bite, kick, or have fun with the many pressure points the body has.
I will go down with my jeep, if that day has to come, knock on wood.

Re: Knock me in the head and take my jeep!?!

Iowa 80 truck stop, Hickory Tire Knocker, with a metal shaft through the center. For 3 bucks it was one hell of an investment. It would put someone down really easy.
