More MC2100 Fun...

Last time I went to find the MC 2100 I got side tracked and never found it, so I hope to be going back to the yard promptly, (4hrs away.)
This time I'm going to be prepared though.
What model/year vehicles have the AMC 304 or Ford 302?

Re: More MC2100 Fun...

look for 70's to mid 80's ford trucks and vans but stay away from the 302s in cars, I tried to use a mc2100 from an ltd and for some reason it didn't work. It had the same venturi and a little bit bigger jet size than one of a v-8 but the damned thing ran so lean I had to back out the mixture screws 8 turns to get it to idle, I tried 3 of them off of different cars with the same result then I got one from a 80 cj and it ran like a dream. Oh, and some of the early fords didn't have a port on the carb for the big pcv line so I would stay away from them. As for 304s look for 70's era cjs or waggies. Here's a link to a site where some guy scanned the FSM for his 1980 cj, it's got everything for the mc2100 carb, the dana 300 x-fer case and the t-176 tranny. Good hunting!
