O/T Stealing Flags!!

I am sorry, but i have to vent.
What the is with these people who steal amrican flags. I having been seeing mutiple reports of amrican flags being stolen. I was somewhat pleased to hear in one situation that a person left money behind to cover the flags. But it is a Dumb Sh#T that stole a bunch of flags that a Texas firestation placed out. I sure do hope those Texan firefighters find those SH#ts and give them hell of a woopin'... Hell shoot them for treason. And the one i am especially ticked bout is a flag was stolen from a ladies roof. It was from her father or grandfathers coffin, and she was hanging it proudly. Then some Sh#t stole it.
I really hate that people have to do crap like this when we are entering such a uncertain time. I hope they all get found and get the Sh#t Beat out of them.

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

I have to agree... My step-father, who recently underwent a liver transplant (in April) was at UCLA medical center last night, parked in a handi-cap spot, and someone BROKE the flag off his car, and trampled it.

He is a veteran of Vietnam (where he caught Hep-C, resulting in the eventual demise of his liver... a 15 year long battle), is one of the strongest people I know. He was so angry last night...

How DARE that person??? I wish I could find that ba$tard...

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

I personally beat the stuffing out of a PSU-campus young peacenik know-nothing know-it-all anti-US common senseless wastrel who was messing with my truck the other day (writing something on the back with marker... "Let the" is all he finished before I surprised him). Funny how someone so anti-violence can get so ineffectively violent when you attack them.

Police wee eventually called, but as there were no witnesses chalked it up as a "he said, pissant commie hooligan said" situation and told the punk there wasn't anything they could do. BTW, they were real nice to me and fairly gruff with the student.

the people stealing the flags are no better than bin laden himself and should be sent to live in the desert with him to await the pretty boom booms we will be sending them.

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

Nice work Fully.

The one time I saw two guys pissing around with my Jeep, I walked up, startled them, they kinda stood around looking like. "We were just standing here, and you can't do anything about it."
My arse I can't. Fired my 256 w. no exhaust up and just reved it a bit. They decided to walk off.
I don't know what they were doing, just kinda poking around inside.
Next time I'll grab the folding shovel out of the back and end up getting charged with assult.

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

A few years back some one stole my American flag. Along with the pole and bracket. Ripped it right out of a brick wall. I'm still pissed off about it. Anyone I catch trying to steal it's replacement (no trouble since the other was grabed) will be in a world of hurt. Stealing a lawn ornament is one thing(still not OK in my book) but stay away from the flag.

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

are you sure they are getting stolen and not getting lost while driving? I just found a flag yesterday on the street. I jumped out of my Jeep and picked it up

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

ANyone who would steal an American flag should be shot. Here we are supporting our nation in a time of need, just showing our patriotism and some dumb a$$ hooligans have to trampled the very symbol of this great nation.
Oh, and if I ever catch anyone #*ing with my Jeep, they won't get off so easy. I dont #* with your *t so dont #* with mine.

Re: O/T Stealing Flags!!

The hard part is diferentiating between someone admiring your Jeep, and someone looking to loot somthing.

If they look under it, they are OK. If there just looking inside, get ready to break out the spare parts/recovery gear.

I'm still contemplating attaching the 2lb extinguisher, I figure 2 weeks before someone steals it, or decides to "re-decorate" the interior.

Personally, I know I would be extremely pissed off if someone stole my.. say.. CB. But it's understandable.
But, what isn't understandable is someone stealing either recovery gear, first aid equiptment, or safety gear.

Because, that stuff shows that I'm not only looking out for my own interests. It shows I have say knowledge of first aid procedures, and in an emergency, any emergency, that first aid kit isn't going to be used on me, that first aid kit is specifically for YOU!

If my f/a kit were stolen, and I saw an accident on the road after getting a new one, I can honestly say that if my original first-aid kit were in the victim's vehicle, I would hand them "their" kit, and ask them what the hell there going to do with it.

It truly is sad that the only way we have to keep our safety/emergency gear safe is in a solid steel box that was designed to keep ammunition safe from the hazards of combat.
