Good place for tires in VA, DC, MD area ?

I'm looking for bigger meats in the 35"-36" range. My rig is not a daily driver but I drive 2-5 hrs to the trails monthly. What are the best place to get them in VA or possibly MD ? Does anybody have any used ones for sale? Would TLSs be ok to drive to trails on? I have some BFG MT type tires now and I'm looking for something more agressive and stronger. Can 36x12.50x15 TSLs be mounted on 15x8 wheels? Thanks.

yes they can be mounted on those rims.. i would try those mail order places.. national tyres.. or whatever.. course i live in turdville.. with nothing around me.. so they can really beat the snot off these local boys with their prices.. but the cheapest was that place in virgina.. or west virgina.. cant remember.. closer = less shipping charges..
sorry cant be more helpful.. but i would at least call them and get quotes.. before striking out to the local joints..

National Tire and Wheel
P.O. Box 391
431 Lane A
Wheeling, WV 26003

Might be worth a trip to save on the shipping....that is where I get eat up.

Don't give up on the local boys, though. I went and told the guy here what I wanted(35x12.50r15 Goodyear MT/R's) and he gave me a price. I then handed him a page I printed off the internet of the current asking price of MT/R's. He met it and knocked 5 bucks off each tire.
