Re: Fordyce ?\'s for H8
I have been in through Eagle, and Meadow Lake, in the last few weeks. Both ends of trail are in very good shape. When we were there over the Labor Day weekend, there were many clubs comming through with very few problems. Water crossings, have not been a problem all summer due to the low water levels. The loose climb, out to Eagle Lake is pretty tore up, and can give fits to crippled rigs, or non locked rigs. There was a lot of winching there on the last day. Low tire pressure and lockers, make it just a routine drive to the top.
Hvae fun, let me know when your going. Im not sure if we will head up there again this year, as we have a club competition coming up in October at the Hammers, and a Big Competition (Cal Rocks 2001) comming up in November. Both of these events and the Rubicon clean up in October will have my hands full.
