how to remove axel shaft(amc 20)
some of you may remember I am getting ready to put in the one-piece axels in the back end.
I got to playing with it tonight and what should I use to pull out the shaft? a slide hammer? I removed the four bolts and the two plates that cover the bearing but I can't pull the shaft out by hand.
Jeeps and classic mustangs, what else is there?
Re: how to remove axel shaft(amc 20)
read the post that i gave you when you originally asked.. i told you that you should put the brake drum ob backwards and thread 3 lugs on a couple threads... use the drum as a big slide hammer. if it is pesky, thread the whole tire and rim on a bit and use that as a slide hammer
1 ton tj-7 thingy
