Carrying the Wrangler/Tracker post further

Spotted this "thing" at the UFWDA 25th on Thurs. Note especially the cool mismatched strange Tera tires on the rear.

Re: Carrying the Wrangler/Tracker post further

Thats so incredibly stupid.

Why don't people realise that Jeep's are for Offroad, Sazukis are pretty good too, 4runners work, but everything else is a pavement pounder.

Thats why noone makes aftermarket lift kits for Civics!

Re: Carrying the Wrangler/Tracker post further

Brad, did that thing have Michigan plates on it? I believe I know who owns that and have wheeled with him in upper Michigan a few years back. I can't remember his name off hand, i'd like to say Jim Mazzoola.. something like that, very active in the Michigan 4 Wheel Drive Association.

I don't remember where it was from, but it was from out of state.

Thanks Brad.. it's gotta be him... I can't imagine two Trackers running Terra tires..but.. you just never know! I did make a mistake just in case Jim is reading this.. he is very active in the Great Lakes 4 Wheel Drive Association.. which covers Michigan, and surrounding states. Rick

Re: Carrying the Wrangler/Tracker post further

you can turn almost anything into a good wheeler. i've seen geo trackers with scout dana44's, i have even seen one in a magazine with full width axles and 1/4 eliptic rear springs. you just have to do it.

No kidding, I think it shows originality and I'm glad he wheeling it. I'd love to follow it just to see how it does on the trail. A friend is going to build one, and he's been itching to start on it. We used to have a 4 door one, and it went great (rear coils).
