CJ in hospital for new legs part 1

Well i finally finished putting my rears together and started swapping them out. I am really going to miss that old amc20. It still had its two piece axles and leaked so bad it wasnt funny. She held up well. The d30 held up tuff too but i did manage to break two ujoints on the long side so i new a locker was out of the question for the 30. Well in there places will be a waggy 44 front with 4 inches cut off. In the back will be a 70's bronco 9in with disk brakes. Thanks for everyone help when i had questions and thanks to jeepgod for the writeup on his webpage for the waggy 6 to 5 bolt swap. Even though i didnt go actually on his route it still worked out with some mods. Can we say cousin custom. Well here are some pics.

If you think this looks bad you should see the inside of the rim.

Here is the old amc 20 on her last ride

Here is the d30 on the jack If anyone needs narrow track inner axles let me know.

Here is the 44 in her new home

Thanks to dirt for showing me how to post these pics.

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.

Re: CJ in hospital for new legs part 1

I wish that was my shop. Its is a friend of mine that helped me fix the cj's frame this spring. http://bbs.off-road.com/wwwthreads//...view=&sb=&vc=1 He also is a great rear guy. So that is where i built my rears with him looking over me.

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.
