I am looking to go to Paragon this fall and want put some 5points in. I was wondering who has the best price for a set of 2. Money is tight but I want my jeep to be safe when I go. Thanks.

Re: best price for 5 point harnesses?

I was able to buy used ones. (DEIST) Ex (Drag Race belts). They have to be replaced every year or so for racing certification. I picked up two sets, just like new for $100 cdn about $68 in U.S. green backs. I checked them out here in Canada, they are certifiable for any Hwy Traffic Act Regulations here.Try anyone with connections to Drag racers or visit nearest Drag strip if you have one near you.

Not sure about DOT regulations, but I was going to put in the RCI 5 pt. harnesses from Summit Racing.

I think they're $59.95 each.

Re: best price for 5 point harnesses?

nope, no inertia reels. these things are just like a set of 4 pt harnesses (no submarine strap and i wouldn't run one anyway). the latch is designed the same and all.

Re: best price for 5 point harnesses?

You don't need inertia reels with 5 pt's.

Your in, tight, and your stuck in, there's no leaning forward or anything. Might have to relocate switches if your really serious.
