Wiring Headaches

Help! 1985 cj7 258 inline. Blowing top right 20 volt fuse which is leaving me with only headlights and turn signals front and rear. No parking, brake lights, front running lights, or gauge lights. This is right after throwing alt belt and killing battery, belt rreplaced and battery replaced with red top. Before the fuse blows meter reads at around 13.5 volts, once it blows up around 14.5 to 15 volts. Also before belt/battery issue oil pressue gauge did not work when internal lights were on, everything else was peachy. Rig was rewired by previous order and wire color does not match, nor was everyting re attached making trouble shooting that much more difficult-is this fixable or is it time for "painless"
