EGR Plumbing...

I did the Nutter bypass on my 89 YJ with 4.2 and now I was wondering if I could remove all the EGR plumbing garbage. If so, what all can I get rid of? I already took out the computer and chucked it in the garbage so I am still looking at what I can clean up. Please help...

Getsum or go home...don't be skeerd!

Re: EGR Plumbing...

When I ripped the computer out of my CJ I disconected the EGR and all components. I took the EGR out, hack sawed of the actuator, and cut some gasket material to cover the entire face between the egr and manifold and reinstalled. Looks good and gives me no trouble.

Re: EGR Plumbing...

Cool deal. Do you know if I can ditch any of the vaccuum lines or anything else besides the actual piping?
