Scored a free truck

Well got a call yesterday from a guy asking me if I wanted a free 79 cj-7. Ofcourse I said yes and picked it up today. I wasn't really expecting much, but it's actually not bad at all. It's a 79 cj-7 straight 6 automatic (I think its a 400 trans) with quadra-trac. Decent hard top and good soft top skin. Power steering, power brakes, AIR CONDITIONING (can we say new onboard air for my 5) All in all, it's not bad. I will be starting to rip it apart and sell it off to pay for my winter cj-5 projects. So if anybody needs anything let me know. power steering box is already spoken for.

Re: Scored a free truck

the fenders were patched with sheetmetal so i don't think you would want them. This guy isn't even my friend, he tagged along on our club run in the beginning of the year, and got my email address off the club webpage which I run.

Re: Scored a free truck

What about the A/C stuff that you won't need for OBA? If you don't need them (underdash stuff, hoses, condensor, etc..), I could use them.

Re: Scored a free truck

Drum or disc brakes, I am looking for spare D30 shafts for a narrow track axle with drum brakes. I don't know if you want to part out the axle or not, but I would be interested in the shafts.
