I found the ultimate \"Jeep 101class\"

Just found a welder/fabricator course at an adult education program. They have gas, arc, mig, tig, and plasma cutters. They also have tubing benders, brakes, presses, jig tables, etc. Access to all the equipment and an instructor to help/teach you to do it right is $175 for 4 months. They are not open weekends, but are open M-F and open late 4 days a week. Go when you want, when you can, not really structured. Go in as much as you want. My wife is really going to miss me.

My other car is a bulldozer!

Re: I found the ultimate \"Jeep 101class\"

A friend of mine used to take an auto body class just so he could use the paint booth/compressor/equiptment. It's really a deal that not alot of people know about. Most people look at it as "Going to school" and that you have to be there every day, pass tests, etc. But if you get mods done for a fraction of the cost of paying someone else or buying equiptment, who CARES if you "Pass". Go for it!

Most Accredited Colleges have what's called an Audit option that allows you to take the class as many times as you want, you don't have to take tests or do homework, and you don't get a grade. It's for people who want to gain knowledge just for personal benefit not for a grade. Nickmil.

I get all that and more for free at my highschool. This is my last year so anything in the future I will have to pay for.

Yeah whats wrong with being young. I started during high school and now have two Jeeps maybe 3 if the guy gets off his butt. But we youngsters will be ahead when everyone else gets hit with the Jeep bugg.
