Dual Tcases for Jeep PLEASE look

Say If I were to use a NP435 and a 203 reduction box can I bolt a Dana 20 (Jeep) to it, to use in my flat fender? What did the 6.69 NP435 come in (I have acess to one from an `82 f150 w/ 300 6cyl)

How long will this set up be? And will it fit my application? Right now I have a T98 w/ a 3" adapter in front of it to a chevy bellhousing. I have a 14 1/2" rear driveline now will it be shorter? if so how much?

Ive read Chad Lloyd`s page on this and Im curious if this will work. any help?
Thanx Mike

unless you rally lengthened your wheelbase don't plan on the doubler.

Re: Dual Tcases for Jeep PLEASE look

If you put two transfer cases in a flattie, I'm afraid you wouldn't have much of a rear driveshaft (unless of course you are lengthening the wheelbase). You could make it work, but it would severely limit your ability to move the rear axle up/down without some spectacular driveshaft carnage.

What tcase you running, d18? Why not just do some tcase gears? Terelow 3:15 or go with O'Brian's. I think they do 4.1 gears and lower for the tcase but they'll cost ya. I would think a 14" rear shaft is about as short as you'd want to go.

Re: Dual Tcases for Jeep PLEASE look

i just measured my "th350/factory adaptor/np203/custom adaptor/dana20" from the back of engine block to center of rear driveshaft forward U-joint and it's 41 inches. also i'm sure a standard GM bellhousing, and SM465 with factory np203 adaptor is exactly the same length as a th350 and factory adaptor to a np203.

so i'd guess 41" should be pretty close to what your thinking about.
