rancho 9000 vs. bilstein vs. Doetsch tech

I think i know pretty much all there is to know about the R9000 ... but how would they compare to Bilsteins ($$$$$$$$$) or to doetsch-tech's ($)???

the doetschs are popular w/ the zuk-crowd, and my cj will be on the light side... anybody running doetschs or bilsteins?

thx
alfred

I have doetschs, they are fine, I don't have anything to compare too though. I just keep denting them, but they still work

The Bil`s are a great shock , good ride and last a long time and the finish is top notch too . Doetsch seem to be very popular but my experience has been with the Bilsteins.
Thing I dont care for on the Rancho`s is the crappy finish , they seem to like to rust in a few months .

I started with 9000s and then went to doetsch tech. I enjoy the doetsch techs ride better than any settings on the 9000s on my cj5

Re: rancho 9000 vs. bilstein vs. Doetsch tech

I wouldn’t trade my 9000 for anything. Not to say that they are better than the others you mentioned, it’s just that I find adjustability a very big advantage since we use our Jeeps in so many different circumstances with different loads.
