Body lifts and Clutch linkage

Does a body lift make problems with the belcrank style cluch linkage? I wanted to add a small 1-2" body lift on my 83' CJ-5. Any solutions if it does?
Thanks

Re: Body lifts and Clutch linkage

No linkage problems at all. With a 2" you may need to make a slight adjustment. BTW, don't forget to move the fan shroud.

Re: Body lifts and Clutch linkage

I have a 2" on mine and i had to whip out the BFH and so on for a few "bending" mods to mine. No big deal. I didn't have to relocate any of it.
Also I had to make the hole in the floor larger for the shifter, lower my fan shroud, knock the plastic pin in the steering column to lengthen it, and stretch the crap out of the gas tank filler hoses. It's still a really easy lift to do. Just watch so that you don't bind or pull something apart. Go slow and just watch. Thats all.
