Actually it's the 6 cylinder 5.9L turbodiesel out of a '91 Dodge Ram. I am using the NV4500HD trans out of a '96 Dodge. The install wasn't too bad, had to learn/make up a lot of things as I went. I bought the engine, an auto trans, wiring harness, radiator, etc as a package for $3500. Then sold the auto for $700 and bought a manual for $1800. Them diesel 4500's are pricey. But, it was all worth it. The Cummins really makes the M-715 come to life. Besides, nothing this ugly should have a gas motor in it.
It's big, it's green, and it belches black smoke. What more could a guy ask for?
My other car is a bulldozer!
