Re: front axle going in soooon

the one coming out is a 1965 closed knuckle drum brake 44.
it's turning radias is less, when brakes get wet i can't stop, and mainly because closed knuckle axle shafts are similiar to dana 25, 27 & 30's, "weak", i've broken 3 and been unable to make or buy an any kind of an upgrade, (due to the small space inside the knuckle) i didn't know this stuff when i bought it years ago for $75.

i am re-using the 4.56 ring & pinion, yoke and diff. cover.
