Jeep getting hot

My jeep overheats when the A/C is turned on. The fan clutch works fine, what should i do?

turn the ac off. No seriously check you coolant mixture Also the Thermostat may be jack up. Happend to me once and it was a combo of those things. Just a thought

What kind of Jeep? And secondly, what kind of Jeep has A/C? Must be one of those newfangled Wrangler things[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif[/img]. Assuming that you have checked the coolant level, have you looked at the condenser in front on the radiator? The fins may be plugged up. If the fins are plugged up, I have always used a blower on an air compressor to blow the bugs and crud out from the back. If that isn't it, I would just rip it all out with the exception of the compressor, and you can convert it for onboard air, and have something far more useful than A/C[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif[/img].
