I've seen a few that way actually, the guy over at cj-8.com did his that way too....thats what Jeeps are all about, set them up to fit your personality and the way you want to....don't necessarily agree with it, I like my Scrambler the way it is, but it bothers me less than when someone bobs one...

I agree 100% with kerry. Everyone has their own taste. I like the round headlights also, but at least he's driving a jeep, and not another honda civic. Actually I take that back, I'm glad only a select few own Jeeps. More diversity, and more cars to practice flex along side the road! lol. Well when I can flex.............. Jeep on

Give me some fresh air, and give me that farm, give me some time with you in my arms; cause I'm gonna feed my soul, where the black top ends...

Re: Well I guess people do convert from round 2 square

Jeep actually built them like that after the switch from the cj-7 to the wrangler. They weren't sold in the U.S. though. But think about it. If you live in an area where everything rusts and you want to keep your jeep on the road but don't want to spend a fortune on reproduction steel, Wrangler bodies are cheap and are less prone to rust.

5.0s and 4 speed = lots of broken parts!!!

It may be the angle but it don't look long enough to be a scrambler ,maybe the guy who painted it couldn't spell and meant to spell wrangler.

why does everyone ask if I am gonna paint it ?

Re: Well I guess people do convert from round 2 square

Nope, its a Scrambler. If nothing else take a look at that big 'ol roll bar....no where but the Scramblers, and it is long enough, take a look at the end of the TJ flare and you can see that its still a ways to the rear fender well, a Wrangler would be closer... Re: Well I guess people do convert from round 2 square

You can find stock "scranglers" all over Africa, Egypt in particular. There was a team of them in the Paris-Dakar a few years back. If anyone from this board has the balls to do such a project, I have a complete Wrangler front-end you could purchase as a starting point. HeHe!!! Hey, did anyone see AJ's Scrambler hard tops? Matbe they've been around for a while, but I seen my first one recently. I may just become a Scrambler fan....

Holy sh*t thats a long way down!
