DUH!! caster cmaber question

How exactly is caster determined?? When the top knuckle is more toward the rear than the bottom knuckle?? You get the best steering/less wandering , with the top towards the rear??

Re: DUH!! caster cmaber question

When the top knuckle leans backward from the bottom is where you want to go.

It's as close to a 1ton as it can get and still be a jeep!!! Gotta love it!!

Re: DUH!! caster cmaber question

Easiest way to remember

Stand up straight, imagine your the knuckle

Lean foward thats negative

Lean back thats positive

the more you point your pinion at your T-Case, the more negative you are. The more negative you are the worse your truck handles. For a good example of Caster, look at a shopping carts front wheels
