Question for you hill/rock climbers

Do any of you experience oil pressure drops when climbing or going down very steep hills? How do you compensate for this? Do you have a baffle in your oil pan to hold the oil near the pump? Is this something homemade or aftermarket?

Re: Question for you hill/rock climbers

The stock Jeep engies have baffles in their pans. Many aftermarket oil pans are available for 350 GM engines, check Milodon, Moroso, etc. for their recomendations.

Re: Question for you hill/rock climbers

I use a engine oil accumulator. It stores engine oil under pressure intill it's needed at start up or if I should happen to lose oil pressure for a couple seconds on the trail.
