finding angles for rocker panel hangers

I am making some rocker protectors and borrowing the idea from this guy http://home.kendra.com/jlaker/jeep/TJRockers/index.html I bought all the steel today, quite a bit more than the $40 he quoted it at, but still a lot cheaper than buying them premade. My question is, what's a good starting point for going about finding the angles for the mouting arms that go to the frame since I have a 2" body lift? Obviously I want them as close to the body as possible, so I need to be pretty precise. Thanks.

Looks like the guy that wrote the article had that figured out by experimenting and using wood as a template.
