Re: OK....Time for Pics of my new bumpers I built

Nice job, Dave!! I'm gonna have to pic up shop and move your way pretty soon I'm not quite sure about Ohio, though Maybe you can come to Oregon?

That rear carrier looks real stout. How's the tire held on? Just by tightening the tire iron up against the rubber?

The front looks real stout too!

How'd you mount the tow rings? Just cut a hole through the bumper, put some sqaure steel in and weld both front and back?

Well, I think that's about all my questions for now Looks awesome dood!

Looks great dave. I like the front bumper with ends going in. You will be fine with the hinge on the tire carrier just make sure you keep it greased. Oh yeh its about time. LOL.

Can someone please bring me a hammer my 33's just ate my fender again. Damn i need more lift.

Thats a really nice job DD, one of the cleanest I have seen. Looks like you took your time and did it right. Man I can't wait until I can afford a welder, I have so many steel items that I need for my Scrambler, but I refuse to buy them for the outrageous prices companies charge. And who are you kidding Kutyfal, you do more than feed that baby, I see a new project post from you it seems at least once a week, I wish you would slow down a little so the rest of us can catch up .

Re: OK....Time for Pics of my new bumpers I built

Nice job on the bumpers!
Instead of welding a washer to keep dirt/water out of the hinge,
have you considered using a freeze plug?
Can't wait to see what you do in the cage!
Keep them pics coming...
