What MPG can I expect with my 31s

My mileage is crappy now that I have 31s. I'm getting like 11-13 MPG. I remember doing long trips w/ my stock tires a year ago and occasionally getting 21 MPG on the highway. Am I running poorly, or is this to be expected? I've done a lot of mods lately, so many things may have affected the mileage.

I'm driving a Weber-ized 1988 258 w/ 200,000 miles.

Thanks guys,

The only way I can get good MPG on my Jeep (88YJ 31"X10.5, auto and Weber) is to tow it with my motorhome. It never got over 14 MPG now with 31" and a few mods. it makes 10 to 11 MPG.

Are you taking into consideration that your mileage shown on your odometer is off a little bit if you didn't recalibrate it. You actually traveled further than is shown. I'm running 36's and am getting 14-15 mpg with 3.54 stock gears.

Yeah, I did a little math in my head. It think I figured that I'm going about 60 MPH when it reads 55. Figured in the same math. My exhaust is stinking up the place.. and I've tried tuning it better. Think I'm going to have to break its "no mechanic" cherry and take it in.

Last year I was getting 16-18mpg on the highway with my CJ7, 35" tires, NV4500 and a 9.5:1 FI327...
