Modifying clutch rod

I've done the search and read most of the posts, but I haven't come across any definitive answers. Is there any general rule of thumb when it comes to lenghtening the clutch rod to compensate for a body lift? i.e. 2" body lift, 2" addition to clutch rod? Of course this is probably one of those "each one is differnt" kind of questions, so I may as well just break out the tape measure tomorrow after work. But tia if anyone has any ideas. Oh, BTW, happy Independence Day everyone.

Re: Modifying clutch rod

I had to lengthen the clutch rod when I put my 3" lift on. I don't remember how much and I am work so I can't measure. Just a note-I also had to lower the bell crank to keep it horizontal with respect to the mounting on the bellhousing.
